INTRODUCING OUR NEW LIVING WITH CHRIST WEBINAR SERIES!

One of the most encouraging developments of our recent pandemic confinements has been our webinars. We’ve had as many as 600 people participate in our discussions on everything from the climate change crisis to dealing with dementia in our parishes.

We’ve had people from around the world attend our presentations by Novalis authors on their own areas of expertise. Many have thanked our speakers profusely, having found much wisdom and insight to apply to their own work or personal lives.

Well, I have news for you! We’re going to take these webinars to the next level with our new Living With Christ Webinar Series.

Over the next 10 months Living with Christ Editor Natalia Kononenko will host four webinars on topics we know will be of great interest to our many readers and social media followers. Each one will feature a special guest whose knowledge and wisdom have been demonstrated time and again in their own lives.

On September 29, 2021 we’ll feature a dialogue on Rebuilding Community with Paul-André Durocher, Archbishop of Gatineau, Quebec, and Novalis Editor/Author Anne Louise Mahoney. They will discuss together how we can overcome the challenges of the pandemic and bring our faith communities back together.

December 1, 2021 will feature a webinar on Hope and Joy at Advent, with liturgist Simone Brosig of Calgary, Alberta. Simone is one of our newest authors, with the recent release of her fascinating book Holy Labours: A Spiritual Calendar of Everyday Work.

For Lent, in response to great demand, we’re bringing back Glenn Byer, liturgist and author of our Mass Appeals trilogy. On March 2, 2022 Glenn will talk about Making Lent Real, with a focus on the prime actions of the season — penance, abstinence and alms-giving — to help us prepare more deeply our hearts for the Resurrection at Easter.

Finally, on June 2 or 3, 2022 we will mark Pentecost with an exploration of Prayer that Engages our Whole Being. We’ll let you know about our special guest for this one in due time.

All of these webinars are at 2 p.m. ET and you can register for each at $9.95 each, or $24.95 for all four.

Our hope is that you will find these presentations valuable, entertaining and insightful for your own spiritual journey or for your work within your faith community. It is just another way we at Novalis and Living with Christ are striving to provide you with worthwhile content using today’s technology.
