It’s Easter! It’s my favourite time of year: after a long drawn out winter, spring and new life (at least for those of us living in the northern hemisphere), seem to crop up everywhere.  This is the Christian story of the resurrection: death is not the last word. That’s pretty powerful thinking. That’s how I understand Easter. Christ resurrecting is not just the miracle of one man, the Son of God, rising from the dead. It is a powerful message that death never has the last word. It helps me get through, accept, and even embrace all of life’s daily ‘winters’. For, I know that there will, somehow, and in some form, always follow a ‘spring.’
